Mexican Batman Vigilante Wanted For Chasing Down Motorbike Thieves And Taping Them To Lampposts

A Mexican vigilante is wanted by police for chasing down motorbike thieves and taping them to lampposts in the area of Lagos de Moreno, Jalisco.

At least 5 men have been found helplessly taped to lampposts over 10 days, and also had the mustaches, cat whiskers and the Spanish words for “thief” and “rat” written on their faces.

The vigilante — whom locals have dubbed the “Batman of Lagos de Merono” — left the stolen bikes near the men to shame them for their crimes.

Authorities cut the men free from the posts and treated them for their injuries, but it’s unclear whether they will actually charge these criminals who the Batman of Lagos de Merono put so much effort into bringing to justice.

What we do know is that Mexican authorities are looking for the Batman himself, and have already uncovered two vehicles they believe are linked to this mysterious nighttime vigilante. Surely one of these vehicles is an armored Batmobile with spinners, and the other is a limo driven by his British butler?

It just goes to show exactly why the Batman of Lagos de Merono is needed in this city. Because the police are so useless/corrupt that they’re going after the guy who’s capturing motorbike thieves and duct-taping them to lampposts, and not going after the thieves themselves. They’re treating the thieves as assault victims and not criminals!

Would be interesting to know what the cartel makes of this mysterious vigilante. He’ll probably be OK as long as they don’t have a problem with him. Then again, would they really want to pick a fight with the Batman at this point?

Keep up the good work, anonymous hero. No doubt the bike thieves of Mexico will be pooping their pants at their prospect of running into the caped taped crusader from here on out.
