Peter Mandelson ‘Wanted £500,000 Payout’ After Being Sacked Over Epstein Links

Peter Mandelson asked for “maximum dignity” and “minimum media intrusion” upon returning to the UK from the US following his inclusion in the Epstein files.

They included this creepy email exchange between him and the disgraced paedo financier:

And this photo of him chatting to a woman in his underpants:

Newly released government documents now reveal that Mandelson requested a severance payout of £547,201 – the full value of his four-year contract – after being sacked as UK ambassador to the US over the Epstein links.

He added that his sudden removal without the standard three months’ notice had “permanently damaged” his employability.

Mandelson also expressed in an email to Foreign Office officials that his “chief concern” was leaving the US and arriving in the UK with “maximum dignity and minimum media intrusion”.

The Treasury ultimately agreed to a much lower settlement of £75,000 – which officials noted that they agreed to in order to avoid the significantly higher costs of a “drawn-out legal claim” at an employment tribunal.

Unreal arrogance and entitlement to be making demands like that after being sacked. Then again, I guess he may as well ask for a £500,000 payout at that point, seeing as he’s probably going to be unemployed for a while. Asking for “maximum dignity” though? Lol – pretty sure he lost that the moment those emails leaked.

Mandelson remains under police investigation for allegedly passing sensitive information to Epstein while serving as Business Secretary in 2009.
