Bali Police Confirm Body Parts Found On Beach Belong To Son Of Ukrainian ‘Crime Boss’
As expected, the body parts that washed up on a Bali beach last week have been confirmed to belong to 28-year-old Igor Komarov – the son of a Ukrainian businessman/’crime boss’.
To recap: Komarov was kidnapped in Bali on February 15 by some people who said his dad had stolen $10,000,000 (£7 million) from them. The kidnappers managed to track him down after his influencer girlfriend brainlessly shared their location on Instagram.

They broke Igor’s legs, cut off his fingers, tortured the hell out of him, and forced him to film a bunch of hostage videos disclosing how his family’s business scams people.
Bali Police Senior Commissioner Ariasandy said today: “DNA tests have been conducted by the police forensic laboratory in Jakarta into six samples we got from the body parts.
“The DNA tests match with the DNA sample from [Mr Komarov’s] mother. Based on (this), we found that the body parts (were) identical to the victim.”
The tests focused on a molar tooth, a collarbone, a fragment of the thigh bone, a rib bone, a toe bone, and a fragment of the shin bone.
Officers also confirmed the discovery of a head, right leg, upper chest sections, thighs and internal organs, which have also been confirmed as belonging to Igor Komarov, with suggestions that he had died around three days prior.

Addressing his parents in one ransom video, Igor had said: “They already chopped off some of my limbs, I have broken legs and punched ribcage. I’m already on meds, I already have no limbs.
“Mummy, Daddy, I beg you, help me please, you stole those ten million, which they ask for, return these ten million please.
“An infection will start soon. I’m just dying… I ask you very much, this is a very serious organisation, please help me, no one can find me, neither mafiosos, no one.
“Bring me home, whatever is left of me at the moment, please settle with these people, they need ten million dollars, which we stole.
“As soon as these ten million are received in their accounts, they will immediately let me go to the place where they took me.”
I guess his parents couldn’t stump up the $10 million, and the kidnappers proved they were not messing about. It’s terrible to think of what Igor went through in his final days and moments, and just goes to show how serious the fallout from the organised crime life can be.
Bali police are hunting six suspects – identified only as RM, BK, AS, VN, SM, and DH, but believe four of them may have already fled the country.
Meanwhile, his girlfriend has been keeping busy on Instagram. No ‘RIP’ post yet, though.
