Gang In Blackpool Who Dressed Up As Policemen To Steal Cannabis From Drug Dealers Have Been Jailed
A Blackpool gang who dressed up as police officers to raid other drug dealers and then sell their product for themselves have been jailed this week.
The “Ozone” Organised Crime Group (OCG) had supplied drugs in Blackpool across the Fylde coast since 2021 using Telegram and WhatsApp.
When Lancashire police raided the gang’s base on Whitegate Drive, they found a bunch of images of them dressed as police officers and having a proper laugh by the looks of it.

The crew were given jail sentences up to 15 years for crimes including drug dealing, blackmail and burglary.
In one incident, three of the gang stormed a woman’s house in masks and wielding machetes and baseball bats as her children slept upstairs in March 2024. They demanded to know “where the weed was” and threatened to firebomb the house if the drugs didn’t turn up. Turns out they had the wrong address.
It was this incident that caught the attention of the police and led to downfall of Ozone OCG.

The gang was sentenced at Preston Crown Court this week. Here’s how they all fared:
- Joshua Shaw (33): The gang leader was sentenced to 15 years for conspiracy to supply and import cannabis, as well as blackmail.
- Mark Kirkwood (29): Sentenced to 8 years and 6 months for assisting an OCG, blackmail, and drug and burglary conspiracies.
- Albert Marashi (30): Jailed for 4 years for conspiracy to supply and produce cannabis.
- David Everton (33): Jailed for 3 years for conspiracy to supply and produce cannabis.
- Cole Muir (27): Sentenced to 42 weeks for being concerned in the supply of cannabis and conspiracy to commit burglary.
In fairness to them, drug dealing is probably the only job available in Blackpool at the minute, but that doesn’t mean you can go around robbing people while disguised as policemen and breaking into innocent families’ homes. Lesson learned.
