‘Laughing Paedo’ Trips And Falls Flat On His Face As Court Erupts Into Applause

A paedophile who laughed and smiled throughout his trial for raping and abusing multiple young boys has been jailed for 14 years.

Martin Tidder, 36, from Hull, also fell flat on his face as he legged it out of the the inner door that had been opened for him following his sentencing, causing the court to erupt into applause.

Tidder targeted three young boys in Hull – raping them, grooming them with cartoon porn to “get them interested,” and manipulating and bribing them to stop them telling anyone.

David Godfrey, prosecuting, said the harm caused by Tidder had been “severe”, with one victim describing it as “disgustingly destructive”. Another victim said it had caused “serious emotional damage”, and a third victim said it had had a “massive effect” on him.

In court, Godfrey told Tidder: “You sexually abused all three of them, didn’t you? These three lads are telling the truth. You sexually abused them.” Tidder replied: “No. It didn’t happen.”

At the sentencing hearing, one of the victims said Tidder had been “laughing throughout the whole case.”

Obviously he wasn’t laughing after being sentenced, and even less so after he faceplanted on his way out of the court room. As per The Mirror, he was helped to his feet by a custody officer.

So – denied everything, laughed throughout the trial, then fell flat on his face when convicted. Sentenced to 14 years – but only after years of terror for those kids. Something tells me he won’t be a very popular man in prison.
