Gay Throuple Adopts Baby, Fights For Parental Rights For All Three Men

A gay throuple has adopted a 3-year-old baby girl in Canada and is fighting for their regional government to recognise the parental rights of all three men, according to the NY Post.

Eric LeBlanc, Jonathan Bedard, and Justin Maheu – who are in a polyamorous relationship – have already fostered the 3-year-old girl for two years, and now all three want to be legally recognised as her parents.

LeBlanc said: “She’s perfect. She’s curious, she’s energetic. She loves to play, she loves to jump, she loves to dance.”

“We are lucky to be three to give her all that support, but I think we are the lucky ones to have her in our life.”

Ontario, British Columbia and Saskatchewan already legally recognise throuples as parents, but Quebec has resisted. Leblanc hopes their court battle with change that.

“We think that either way it might go all the way to the Supreme Court. But we’re saddened from the fact that we’re not backed by our own government, which is supposed to be an open government that wants to help every single family.”

Well, it’s 2025, so why not eh? I’d be very surprised if Canada, which is generally considered to be on “woker” side of the spectrum, doesn’t approve these three men as the officially recognised parents of the three year old girl they adopted, thus making them the first gay parent throuple in history? Don’t quote me on that.

Naturally, a load of people are freaking out about this and claiming it will “confuse” and “f*** up” the child and that it’s reflective of a “sick” society and whatnot. Who knows, though? What if this girl ends up having a great childhood and grows up to be a happy and high-functioning adult with three gay dads?

If everyone’s happy, responsible and healthy, it’s hard to really find an issue with it. After all, it’s better than being stuck in foster care, right?
