The disabled season ticket holder who was allegedly shouting racist abuse at Bournemouth player Antoine Semenyo at Anfield has been banned from every football ground in the country.

Wheelchair user Mark Mogan, 47, was identified by police at half time and removed from the ground after witnesses and stewards pointed him out along the touchline following the incident.

It’s actually a shocker to find that Mark is racist – look how thrilled he is to be having his picture taken with Emile Heskey:

MailOnline (who else?) have uncovered some details about Mark in the days since: he is was a Liverpool season ticket holder, is single with no kids and lives in a social housing bungalow in the city with his mum.

He has been in a wheelchair since birth with a medical condition and receives disability benefits.

Merseyside Police confirmed on the weekend that a man had been arrested in connection with the racial abuse and that he had been bailed for three months pending further investigations.

As part of his bail conditions he has been banned from attending any football match. If found guilty of racism, he will be banned by Liverpool for life.

Here’s the moment Mark is alleged to have racially abused Semenyo, in case you missed it:

Obviously it must completely suck to be born with a disability that confines you to a wheelchair your whole life and I’m sure Mark has struggled throughout his life with everything that comes with that, but that’s no excuse to be a pr1ck, let a lone a racist pr1ck. Especially to a player like Antoine Semenyo who never goads the opposition fans and just seems like a nice lad that gets on with it on the pitch.

Crazy that he thought he could racially abuse a player in this day and age and get away with it. Cameras everywhere and social media will have you called out in no time. I hope it was worth it for him because he’s almost certainly being found guilty and will never see the inside of a football stadium again. Absolute bummer as he was entitled to good seats on account of his condition and all. Way to throw it all away, Mark!

Meanwhile, Semenyo Tweeted a classy response to the incident:

What a guy.

For the time a Jack Grealish was slapped by a Manchester United fan he called a ‘little, ugly w***er’, click HERE. Struck a nerve, it seems.
