Opinion seems to be split on this footage going viral at the moment. If you ask us, clearly the white van man is at fault. It’s all right there on camera as he dangerously tries to overtake the biker. But did the biker deal with it in the best way he could?

Yes, the van driver was being a total d1ck, but it might have been a good idea to back off and ride more defensively after realising he was making himself a hazard. Seems a lot safer to just take a deep breath and drop behind, rather than try to keep in front of a maniac like that.

What about the two punches though – were they justified? In fairness, the biker did offer him a way out for an apology, but for some reason the van driver just asked for another punch? That was weird.

Still, you’d think the van driver would take a couple punches over 6 points on his license. Although maybe being assaulted is more of an actual deterrent to ensure he won’t drive like an idiot again? I guess time will tell on that one.
