A woman claims she’s been battling an infection for 7 years after her ex-boyfriend pulled his butt cheeks apart and let rip in her face with devastating fart from which she is still recovering.

Travel influencer Christine Connell says doctors found E.coli in her sinuses following the incident, after she developed a stuffy nose and facial pain which persist 7 years later.

As if that wasn’t bad enough, the fart which caused all this suffering was administered to Christine as she was in bed recovering from ankle surgery. Talk about adding insult to injury!

Christine recalls being immobile in bed at the time, and that she ‘couldn’t breathe’ as a result of the stink.

Of course there’s no way she could have imagined that the fart would have such a lasting impact on her life, until a culture sample was taken from her nose.

Christine finally announced the results of the culture tests in a video on TikTok: “It’s E.coli.”

If you didn’t know, E.coli is a group of bacteria that lives in your gut without hurting you, but certain strains can cause gut and urinary tract infections. Infections can occur when you ingest bacteria from poop; for example from contaminated food, drink, surfaces, not washing your hands properly, or receiving a brutal fart to the face, I guess.

As Christine points out: “So I don’t know, how does that get in your sinuses unless you have a boyfriend who farts disgustingly and you are forced to inhale it because you are immobile after ankle surgery?”

In a follow-up video, Christine detailed how the fart happened while her boyfriend was changing, with her lying on the bed, ankle elevated: “His butt was facing me and that is when the fart happened.”

Christine suggested that her immune system may have been ‘focused’ on healing her ankle, and thus couldn’t protect her adequately from her boyfriend’s fart. Which actually makes a lot of sense. Still, what did her boyfriend eat beforehand to conjure up such a devastating bioweapon?

You also have to wonder – can she sue him for it? It does sound like this incident has basically ruined her life, and it’s all because her boyfriend thought it would be funny to fart in her face (which it undoubtedly was, until the long-term consequences came into play).

The biggest question though has to be why this young lady would ever want to share this information with the world? Well, I guess ‘travel influencers’ need attention too. Get well soon, girl!
