Normally when you win a big race or event or anything you spend most of your time afterwards celebrating and it feels awesome because you’ll get a big bottle of champagne and some prize money and just feel like an absolute G.

Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case for supercross rider Jason Anderson, as no sooner had he crossed the finish line and raise his hand in victory, then another bike slammed into the back of his head and wiped him clean out off his bike. He was OK in the end but man, that’s no way to celebrate a victory at all is it? Here’s what he had to say:
I got the hole shot and started pulling away. Midway through the moto Herlings caught up and we had a pretty good battle before he went down.
I was really excited to cross the line first but soon after I felt another bike landing on me.
We’ve got everything checked out and I’m going to be OK. It’s just a bummer I couldn’t help Team USA battle for the win.
So patriotic, but this is one serious slam so it’s kind of cool he was OK and it didn’t affect him too much. Check the second one for slow motion too:
Ouch. Like I said, cool he’s OK but I suppose supercross riders get slammed around like this all the time so it’s probably not that big a deal for him. That’s still one hell of a random incident though.
