TikTok came from out of nowhere and has pretty much taken over the social media landscape, thanks in part to its #Challenges which seem to go insanely viral no matter what the concept is.

The most recent challenge to blow up on TikTok is the #SilhouetteChallenge, which is pretty self-explanatory. Take a look at some examples below:

Just one problem – you know the TikTok filter used to create that red and black look? Turns out it’s very easy to remove. Not ideal! There are even a bunch of tutorials on YouTube showing you how to do it:

Which is weird, because YouTube are pretty gung-ho about taking videos down and/or demonatising them, so why wouldn’t tutorials on how to remove the red and black filter on TikTok and expose the nude bodies of TikTokers against their will also be taken down? Very bizarre.

Does Zodiac Motherf-cker have a point? Do we live in the stupidest era of human existence? Not sure I would go that far, but what is pretty stupid is how people continue to put themselves out there on the internet and are then freaking out when they get exposed (literally in this case) or things don’t go to plan. No matter how many times it happens, people are still shocked by it.

Not to mention – how is the Silhouette Challenge even a challenge in the first place? What’s challenging about using a filter? There’s not even a prize at the end of it! Oh well, let this be a lesson to us all – be careful what you share on the internet.
