I thought we’d seen the last of this food terrorism trend when the ice cream lickers went viral during Covid 19, but it looks as though we now have d*ckheads like this guy licking conveyor belt sushi that someone else is about to eat.

Naturally, the high school student was dumb enough to share the evidence on TikTok, but there’s no way he expected the consequences that followed:

It looks as though the viral footage caused a considerable drop in footfall for the Sushiro restaurant chain, which had to change the whole way it operates in order to alleviate fears of idiots like this contaminating food with their saliva. According to CNN, the company claims to have lost about 16 billion yen ($115 million) following the release of the video due to a sharp drop in customers and a slump in the stock of its parent company. Not good!

It appears they want to make an example of this kid though and are suing him for 67 million yen (£400,000), which does seem like a lot of money considering the crime but at the same time, hopefully it’s harsh enough to deter other food terrorists from doing the same thing. I mean, it’s not like we can publicly stone these idiots (yet), is it?

For the master sushi chef who created the ultimate dessert roll, click HERE. Wouldn’t mind giving that a lick.
