It’s hardly breaking news that The 1975’s Matty Healy is a bit of a weirdo, and so it was only a matter of time before Taylor Swift fans did their due diligence and dug up every red flag available on the guy.
Sure enough, they’ve now dug up a podcast clip in which Matty’s bandmate Adam recalls a friend catching Matty masturbating to Ghetto Gaggers pornography:
“She went back in and Matty, like, on his phone and then on his 77-inch OLEDs just got Ghetto Gaggers blaring. Thirty seconds after the hang, just hardcore pornography.”
Why is this necessarily an issue? Well, for those who don’t know, Ghetto Gaggers is an extremely niche porn site that involves white dudes having sex with black girls and focuses on ‘the humiliation and degradation of women of colour’. The site’s own description reads “Extreme hardcore face f***ing, ebony hoodrats, ghetto double penetration and interracial throat banging of the Ghetto Gaggers.” Very un-Taylor Swift-like material!
In the podcast clip, which can be listened to here, Matty admits the story is true and recalls the woman in the video he was watching being ‘brutalised’.
“You’re not exaggerating — it was 30 seconds, like, you guys were still waiting outside,” he remembered. “She came back in, I was already flustered. I was dressed as ‘guy who is jacking off,’ so I had, like, an untucked shirt, and I think it literally was Ghetto Gaggers on the TV — somebody just getting, like, brutalized.”
Naturally, the Swifties are VERY disappointed that Taylor Swift would be dating a man like this:

He also made ‘racist’ comments about Ice Spice on another podcast and mocked Japanese accents:

Oh and as if that wasn’t enough, he’s also got previous for Islamophobia:
There’s loads more stuff too but you can look it up yourself if you want. Basically if it has a ‘-phobia’ or ‘-ism’ at the end of it, Matty Healy has been guilty of it at some point or another. Which is completely counter to everything that the Taylor Swift brand is about, but then she could probably date Josef Fritzl and her songs would still chart and her merch would still sell. She’s uncancellable!
Besides, maybe Taylor Swift needs to date bad boys like Matty Healy in order to have something to write about for her next album. Just imagine all the content he’s giving her with all the racist or misogynistic things he’s saying to her in private! It’s all part of the creative process. I’m sure the Swifties will forgive her once it’s inevitably over.
