Sick Chirpse has done a couple of posts about slow mo videos. One back in December here and the one showing a 720 backflip. They were both pretty sweet, but they are kind of stock standard. Everyone is doing slow motion videos at the moment, whether it is basic BMX tricks or a firework going off – things just look extremely cool in slow motion, but making a video that sticks in your memory because of it is becoming increasingly difficult.
Ever since Johnny Knoxville used the ‘super slow mo’ in Jackass 3D I have come to realise that it is unlikely that any slowmo will be as funny as a rubber cock flying through various scenaries. However, I have managed to come across some pretty cool and unusual stuff that is almost as good as it. So I have picked out a few of late which I think will appeal to all different areas of the Sick Chirpse fanbase, from unreal skateboard tricks to tits and fast cars. Check these out:
First up are these flatground skateboard tricks. Now as mentioned earlier there are various skateboard/BMX tricks which people do and then it is shown like a million times in slow mo. Well these tricks aren’t seen or spoken of very often and it is filmed in a fvcking cool way and this differentiates it from the thousands of identikit tricks banging around out there. You’ll see what I mean. Check it out:

Secondly… The boobies. You all know Kate Upton, the body. She isn’t exactly hard on the eye. So get her bouncing down a catwalk in a low cut top/ bikini and you are in for some delightful slow mo. Finally a BMW M5. Now I understand that you may think ‘surely I should save the best till last?’ i.e. Kate Upton’s jubblies. Well usually I would agree, but this is pretty fresh! Slow mo YouTube videos are normally shot with small things, like a bullet going through a glass of milk or bursting a water balloon for example. I am not saying these aren’t cool; they are. You get to see the glass shatter and milk goes everywhere, or the water stays perfectly spherical before dropping to the floor- sweet – but it has been done before- A LOT.
Well BMW Canada decided to up this ‘craze’ and go BIG for their latest advert using their M5 as the ‘bullet’ for their super slow mo shots. The car is driven across a saltflat somewhere and crashes through an array of brilliantly designed obstacles in super slow mo; from giant glass apples to 3 giant water balloons. It really is nuts. However, I’m sure you are still just thinking about Kate Upton’s waps so I am going to shut up and let you decide for yourself. I guess most of you will probably be tempted to go back and watch that Kate Upton video, but trust me, you want to check this one out. At least before you go and watch that one again.
