With the current Coronavirus crisis, the references to ‘Shaun Of The Dead’ have been thick and fast with many people suggesting that they would love to self isolate for the next 12 weeks in their local pub. Or any pub pretty much.

However, even though the government have stopped short of closing pubs and restaurants and just ‘recommended’ that you don’t visit them, the two stars of ‘Shaun Of The Dead’ Nick Frost and Simon Pegg have decided to give you their own advice about what to to do in these uncertain times. And number one on the list is not bunkering down at The Winchester until it all blows over:

I mean that is pretty much perfect isn’t it, and it’s great to see these guys realising the influence that their silly movie from twenty years ago is having on people right now and stepping up to encourage people not to go out and mingle, even though the government should really have done this straight away. Although I guess it doesn’t really matter because literally as I’m writing this Boris just announced that all pubs and clubs etc would be closing – good work idiot.

For more of the same, here’s Eugenie Bouchard begging for a boyfriend to spend self isolation with on Twitter. Get going on it!
