The other day, I was watching Jaws when suddenly the most awesome idea for a movie popped into my head. I thought if a movie about one shark can terrify so many people, why don’t I make a movie with a THOUSAND SHARKS? And then I thought, why don’t I introduce a natural disaster into my movie (people are terrified of natural disasters), something like a TORNADO, that could actually carry the sharks out of the water and have them munching people in mid-air? You could literally see the lightbulb turn on above my head. Shark + Tornado = Sharknado. Boom – let’s make a movie.

Imagine my disappointment then, when I logged onto IMDB and found that someone had already beaten me to the punch. Yes, Sharknado already exists – I was too late. I slumped back into my chair and shook my head ruefully. Back to the drawing board.
