As a guy, there are two main things you worry about as you’re getting older: going bald and losing your boner.

Whilst there are several cures for baldness available if you’ve got a shit tonne of money to spend, sorting out your dick has always been a lot sketchier, but researchers from Odense University Hospital in Denmark believe that they may have found a cure in the form of stem cell therapy. They presented the results at the recent European Association of Urology conference in London with study leader Dr Martha Haahr saying the following:

It’s very promising. This therapy is regenerating the actual function of the penis, rather than just treating the symptoms.

So we could offer just one procedure. It would be attractive for many men, rather than constantly having to take pills and be reminded of their impotence.

If it works in larger trials, we will have a safe new treatment that is more effective than Viagra.

What we have done establishes that this technique can lead to men recovering a spontaneous erection – in other words, without the use of other medicines, injections, or implants.

Dysfunction

Sounds like a major breakthrough eh? The research involved 21 patients who had a small sample of fat taken from their stomach during liposuction. The stem cells from this sample were then extracted and injected back into the patient and within six months all of the men were able to have sex again with the help of additional medication and eight of them were able to do it of their own free will. Massive.

Let’s hope that this treatment gets approved and heads into the mainstream ASAP. I’m sure there are a lot of guys out there who will be only too happy to hear about it. Especially Donald Trump – apparently his hair loss medication has caused him erectile dysfunction as a side effect. Ouch.

And if you don’t like going the medical route, the exercises in Mr. Manpower’s Guide look promising, and can’t hurt to give them a shot first. Natural!
