As much as we criticise and ridicule modern day society, the truth is we’re damn lucky not to be living in The Middle Ages, when people were a lot more violent and a lot less forgiving. Also, they knew considerably less about universe and the human form than we do.

Then again, we’ll probably be the ones looking clueless in another 10-15 centuries.


7. The Universe


The universe as understood in medieval times looks visually appealing but they’ve somehow decided that not only is Earth at the centre of the universe but it’s also the only planet that exists, and is 5 or 6 times bigger than the sun and moon.
