Australian rugby league player Corey Norman has picked up an 8-game ban and a £500 fine after intentionally shoving his finger up the butt hole of opponent Oliver Holmes during the Toulouse Olympique Vs Warrington Wolves game this week.

Holmes complained about the incident during the game and provided a statement to the tribunal held by the Rugby Football League afterwards. You can watch the incident itself below:

Brutal stuff. You can’t just go around giving people prostate exams in the middle of a rugby game, can you? As thoughtful as that might be, it’s just not on. Yeah OK you might say Norman only got the tip of his finger in there but still, an intentional finger in the butt is an intentional finger in the butt. It’s illegal no matter how deep up your opponent’s anus you manage to go.

Between the rugby star who caught his girlfriend sucking off his teammate, the rugby star whose bollock exploded during training and now this sexual assault in the middle of the pitch, it’s been a hell of a week for drama in the rugby world. Who needs the Kardashians when you’ve got Rugby League eh?
