A second video of Toronto mayor Rob Ford smoking crack in his drug dealer’s sister’s basement is on the market and was apparently recorded just 5 days ago. Canada’s Glove and Mail obtained stills of the footage of Ford puffing on a copper crack pipe and gesticulating wildly as crackheads are wont to do.

Ford’s dealer, who filmed it, wants “at least six figures” for the full video. Rob Ford meanwhile announced he’s going to “take a break” from the mayoral election campaign to “go get help”. Chances are he’ll lay low for about a week then explode back onto the scene and win the elections by a landslide but if by some miracle he comes back skinny and sober, we’re going to be pissed (purely for selfish, entertainment-based reasons).

The real question is what the hell is Rob Ford thinking allowing recording equipment in the room while he’s smoking crack? He thought he was safe because he was smoking with his dealer? Come on Rob, you’ve got to be smarter than that. When you’re the hottest crack-smoking mayor in the game everyone’s looking for a chance to take you out, even your crack dealer. ESPECIALLY your crack dealer. It’s his crack that’s made you the superstar you are today, that put you on the front page of Sick Chirpse. Probably had this burning resentment towards you for years and you’ve basically served him his shot at revenge and a six figure deal on a plate.

Come on Rob, we’re on your side (kind of). Stop making it so hard to make excuses for you.
