Sticking the mic into the crowd for fans to sing along is a pretty standard move for any singer in the middle of a set, but it’s pretty rare when the person in the crowd is an actually better singer than the one on stage.
Unfortunately, that’s exactly what happened to Rihanna the other day when she was singing in Cincinnati somewhere as this 28 year old dude called Terah Stewart absolutely nails it when asked to sing along with Rihanna’s Kanye West/Paul McCartney collaboration FourFiveSecond. Check it:

Ooof. Way to go dude. You can see Rihanna is vexed when she says ‘oh shit’ and ‘whoa’ after he does the singing and then looks really off key right at the end when she walks off, like she’s upset this dude’s so talented. I mean it’s not like she’s bad or anything but that guy just completely rocked it when up against one of the most notable voices in the world. Gotta give him props for that.
Rihanna probably isn’t that bothered anyway, she’s still cut up about her biggest regret in life – not wearing a bedazzled thong apparently.
