A few years back, Ryan Giggs showed himself to be the ultimate disloyal scumbag when it was revealed he was carrying on an affair with his brother Rhodri’s wife Natasha.

Yeah, a superstar footballer who could have pretty much any woman he wants was routinely banging his own brother’s wife (not to mention he was married himself at the time). Top guy or what?

Well looks like Rhodri has moved on to better things since then, one of those being a starring role in this A+ advert from Paddy Power.

Love the bit where the barmaid asks if he’d like a pint of bitter, but Rhodri goes for champagne instead, giving a knowing wink to the camera.
Rhodri says about the advert:
It’s just taking the mickey out of myself, taking the mickey out of Ryan I suppose, it’s a bit of fun really.
It’ll make some people laugh, it’ll make some people frown, but that’s the world we live in, you can’t please everyone.
The whole thing is just me poking fun at the situation, because I’m over it. I’m not in the dark place I was years ago, I’ve moved on, he’s moved on, my ex-wife has moved on.
What does he think Ryan’s response to the ad will be?
I don’t care.
Fair play. I bet Rhodri liked it when someone graffiti’d the shit out of Ryan’s £2 million mansion, though.
