You may have seen the ‘1 Progressive Vs 20 Far-Right Conservatives’ video that went viral a few days back, mainly due to a participant named ‘Connor’ who blew Mehdi Hassan’s mind by describing himself as a proud fascist and saying he didn’t care if people call him a Nazi.
Here’s a clip of Conor giggling maniacally in Hassan’s face as he proudly affirms that he’s a fascist and advocates for dictatorships:
“We may have to rename this show because you’re a little bit more than a far-right Republican.”@mehdirhasan called out a self-proclaimed ‘fascist’ on the show ‘Surrounded’ where he debated 20 far-right Republicans. pic.twitter.com/5S1WQLT6NA

Welp, turns out you can’t be admitting to things like that on a YouTube show viewed by millions of people, and tens of millions more on social media, and so Conor has now been sacked from his job for having, as he describes, “legal traditional right-wing political views.” Who could have seen that one coming?
Naturally, he’s now asking for money on GiveSendGo, which you’d think was more of a socialist approach, but hey ho:
Incredible. He’s actually now raised $37,000 and counting, so despite losing his job, Conor is $37,000 richer.
Pretty shocking to think there’s that many people out there who support his point of view, to be fair. I mean, there’s nothing wrong with being critical of multiculturalism or liberal society if that’s how you feel, but going full-on fascist with it? Proudly admitting it in 2025? Just goes to show how many people out there silently hold the same views.
In any case, Conor has probably managed to forge himself a new career and will no doubt be on the speaking circuit in no time, ‘owning’ college students on American campuses and whatnot. Here’s the full Jubilee video if you’re interested – it really is something:
