Before now, if you weren’t an inmate or friend /relative of an inmate this is something you would never have seen.
In today’s whirlwind cacophony of free access to all images it’s quite nice to find a whole genre of pictures that you never even knew existed.
The inmates take it in turns to play the role of photographer and are given strict instructions to crop out any dead wall space. So Emdur attempted to find other pictures that show these murals in their actual setting to show the contradiction. Like this:
