A 16-year-old boy, who cannot be named, has been arrested and charged with wounding and intent to cause grievous bodily harm in Hull, and unfortunately for the police officer who was initially tasked with arresting him; the lad is an absolute unit.

Ideally he’ll have some back-up with him next time:

There seem to be mixed feelings on social media around this clip, with some claiming that the officer got what he deserved after dishing out the first punch to the offender. Personally I think it’s a bit mad to be siding with the thug who’s resisting arrest after seriously hurting someone, but then that’s the internet for you.

Then again, might not have been the best idea to throw a punch at someone who’s twice the size of you, even if you are in a police unform. Either way, well done to the cop for trying his best. Maybe whip out the taser next time?
