People Are Slamming The Daily Mail’s Front Page For Claiming Teacher’s Unions Are Preventing Schools Reopening

It’s well known that The Daily Mail is one of the most awful and biased papers out there, constantly shipping complete and utter dross to the nation that is often nothing more than barefaced lies and they’ve outdone themselves once again with today’s front page regarding teachers going back to work.

The headline claims that teacher’s unions are preventing them from going back to work and that countless teachers are desperate to return and be heroes. All you have to do is look at Twitter or talk to anyone who is a teacher to know that this just isn’t the case and 90% of teachers are worried about going back to work as they want to keep themselves, their families and their students safe from the virus because it’s literally going to be impossible to practice social distancing in a school. It’s not exactly rocket science is it?

On top of this, they’ve then vilified the trade unions who are just trying to protect their members and help the situation, implied that those teachers who don’t want to return to work are cowards rather than heroes and also cropped a black child out of the stock image that they’ve used. Really, really going for it with this one aren’t they?

At least some people can do their own research and realise that pretty much everything The Daily Mail spouts is lies. Sadly a whole load of people in this country are just going to have it delivered to their doorstep and believe everything they say though and there’s not much we can do about that.
