Emojis are always going to be used for purposes that they haven’t explicitly been designed for – see the aubergine, although I’m fairly sure whoever is behind emojis probably knew what they were doing with that one – and it looks like it’s going to happen again with the introduction of what can only be described as the ‘blowjob emoji’.

The new emoji features a woman kneeling down and it doesn’t take a genius to figure out what people are going to be using that for when it’s released. Again, I really think that the creators must know what they’re doing with this one because when else are you going to use that emoji realistically? The only thing I can think of was if you were going to pray and I can’t really see people using an emoji for that activity too often, can you?
