Peaky Blinders actor Paul Anderson was arrested for crack cocaine possession at a pub in Hampstead, west London, last month, with his lawyer later explaining in court that the actor had just wanted to please fans who were begging to get f***** up with Arthur Shelby.
Well, Anderson, 46, has sparked fresh concern with this latest photo of him leaving a bakery in London, where you might say he’s looking exactly the sort of guy who you might catch with crack cocaine in a pub toilet, by order of the Peaky Blinders…
Apparently it’s nothing to worry about though, because Paul Anderson himself has taken to social media to assure fans that he’s totally fine and his disheveled look has nothing to do with crack cocaine or any other drug, but rather, he’s just had a case of the sniffles:
Not only that, but he’s back on set filming new Civil War series The Gray House! Would a crack cocaine user be able to get out of bed for that? Well, probably. But even still, here’s the proof:

As for the initial charge on Boxing Day, Paul Anderson was fined £1,345 over the incident. Apparently, police were called after the pub manager smelled what he believed were crack cocaine fumes coming from the disabled toilet. Officers then found crack cocaine, a crack pipe, amphetamines, diazepam and pregabalin on the actor.
The good news is that clearly Paul Anderson is back at work, and so we should probably give him the benefit of the doubt when he says he was feeling under the weather in that photo and not cracked out or hungover from the night before. Here’s hoping he keeps it together, not least because he’s due to reprise his role as Arthur Shelby for the movie adaptation of Peaky Blinders, which begins filming this year. Plus, he’s just way too talented an actor to throw it all away on drugs.
