‘Dune’ is one of those movies/stories that everyone says is pretty much impossible to get right on the big screen, but it looks as though Denis Villeneuve is going to give it one hell of a shot judging by its latest trailer.

Not only has Villeneuve assembled an impressive cast – Timothée Chalamet, Rebecca Ferguson, Oscar Isaac, Josh Brolin, Stellan Skarsgård, Dave Bautista, Stephen McKinley Henderson, Zendaya, Chang Chen, David Dastmalchian, Sharon Duncan-Brewster, Jason Momoa and Javier Bardem – but he’s also probably got the skill to pull it off given his previous movies like ‘Blade Runner 2049’, ‘Arrival’ and ‘Prisoners’. This new trailer only seems to prove that thesis even more:
Fuck me there’s a lot going on there isn’t there? Still haven’t really got a clue what the plot’s about – I guess Zendaya is contacting the Timothee Chalet through his dreams to try and get him to use his influence as the heir to the empire to stop them abusing her planet and a massive global battle ensues? – but I suppose you don’t really need to know anything other than it’s going to be an absolutely epic. Can’t wait to see it in IMAX and see more of those giant sand worms. Surely they should have them more of a big deal in the trailer?
