A New Jay And Silent Bob Film Is Officially On The Way

Snoochie boochies.

Kevin Smith might not be everyone’s favourite film director, but you can’t deny that his first few movies are absolute smashers, particularly his 90s cult classic hits ‘Clerks’ and ‘Jay and Silent Bob’.

Fans of these earlier films will be pleased to know that Kevin Smith and Jason Mewes will be returning as the iconic stoners, as a new ‘Jay and Silent Bob’ movie is on the way and the filming will begin this autumn.

Great news. The characters were originally featured in the 1994 movie ‘Clerks’ and now after 16 years since starring in ‘Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back’ it looks like they’ll be ready for action once again.

The reboot has been described as:

A tongue-in-cheek, silly-ass satire that pokes fun at the movie business’s recent re-do obsession.

Nice way of getting around the whole remake trend, guys.

There’s currently no release date for ‘Jay and Silent Bob Reboot’ as of yet, but hopefully we’ll find out more details about the movie once they start filming in the next couple of months. Snoochie boochies!

For more of the same, did you know that ‘Mallrats’ is being converted into a TV show? Everything’s getting a remake these days.
