Everyone loves a good zombie yarn – look at the popularity of The Walking Dead, soon to enter its 10th season – and it looks like the next great zombie show could come courtesy of Netflix’s Black Summer.

We’ve already written about this a few weeks ago to tell you to get ready for it, but we thought that it was pertinent to post this little reminder that the show will be able to stream in its entirety on Netflix from tomorrow April 11th. In case you missed it the first time round, here’s the trailer and a little synopsis of it as well:

In the dark, early days of a zombie apocalypse, complete strangers band together to find the strength they need to survive and get back to loved ones.

Yeah, not really saying much is it but the producer is saying that it’s shot in a very cinematic style and she expects audiences to respond to it very positively. It’s also shot entirely from the point of view of the characters involved, so they’ve literally got no idea what is happening for the most part, other than the fact that a whole load of zombies are suddenly trying to kill them, which clearly adds to the tension and paranoia massively. Got a good feeling about this.
