I don’t know if you’ve ever had the pleasure of walking past the St. Pancras Renaissance Hotel in London, but if you’ve been there in the last couple of years then you’ll have noticed that a pink supercar seems to be permanently parked outside.

The £150,000 McLaren 570s has become such a mystery in the country’s capital that one random TikToker decided to make a video theorising about why it was always parked there, with several people guessing that the owner lived in the hotel and they allowed him to leave it there because it looked good.

Well, it wasn’t hard to actually figure out the ‘mystery’ behind it all. The Metro decided to take matters into their own hands and simply phoned up the hotel and asked them what was going on.

Here’s what a staff member told them:

It belongs to a man who is renting one of the apartments upstairs.

He has been living there for a number of years, we’re not sure who he is.

Every time we walk past it I just think what a car, and how lucky he must be to drive it.

He does go out in it from time to time.

Sounds like the Metro got really lucky there and found a real petrolhead who genuinely loved that pink supercar hey? Have you heard the way he talks about it? ‘how lucky that guy must be’ – man is practically creaming his pants over it.

Anyway, the hotel couldn’t divulge the identity of its owner so it’s anyone’s guess as to who the mystery man or woman could be? Probably some rich freak that nobody has ever heard of before. Has to be an idiot to like that car though. Only people in the world that like it are the owner and that weird hotel worker.

For more of the same, check out when Katie Price bought a souped up pink mobility scooter when she lost her licence. Maybe she owns the supercar?
