Matt Hancock came under fire last week when it was revealed he had donated just £10,000 of his £320,000 ‘I’m A Celeb’ fee to charity, despite claiming that money wasn’t the primary reason he joined the program. Well I guess this guy must be a glutton for punishment because he went on GMB earlier and got an absolute grilling from Richard and Susanna on the subject:

I like how he stresses that it was a ‘5 figure sum’ when it’s literally the lowest 5 figure sum possible. Now on one hand it does seem a bit harsh giving someone a bxllocking for giving £10k to charity, but as Madeley says that’s only 3% of Hancock’s I’m A Celeb fee, not to mention that he shouldn’t have been on the show in the first place as he had effectively abandoned his constituents and was still collecting his MP’s salary.

He insists that his primary motivation for doing the show ‘was to communicate with people about who I am as a person’, but everyone still thinks he’s a knob, so what was the point? Fair play to GMB for at least trying to squeeze the truth out of him, but not much else you can do with a guy as unashamedly full of shxt as Matt Hancock. Although to be fair, it would be interesting to know what Richard Madeley donated to charity from his own I’m A Celeb fee? Hmmm….

Previously, Hancock was assaulted and called a ‘murderer’ on the London Underground.
