A modern-day Crusader in an England beanie hat went to the trouble of tearing down a Palestinian flag in Tower Hamlets, London, the other day, which seems like a waste of time given there’s Palestinian flags on pretty much every lamppost in Tower Hamlets.
He got booted off the ladder for his troubles, resulting in all-out ladder warfare, Razor Ramon Vs Shawn Michaels style:

The Met Police issued a statement asking for information about the two men who teamed up on the English guy, which is a bit weird because they’ve got the driver’s numberplate right there in the video.
This incident is under investigation. Officers were called by the man who had the ladder kicked out from under him. He was seen by paramedics. The other two men had left the area but officers are working to identify them.

Well, at least there were no guns or knives involved. Just the ladders, which I think now belong to the two blokes who disappeared from the scene? Obviously it’s very dangerous and not very nice to kick a ladder out from underneath someone, but then that’s the risk you run anytime you tear down a Palestinian flag in east London. You live and you learn.
