Despite the fact that it’s all anyone has been talking about for the last three months and there has been enough video evidence of hospitals being totally overwhelmed by it with multiple people on ventilators etc, there are still loads of people out there questioning whether Coronavirus is real because that’s just how people act in 2020.

One man who has changed his tune after he was diagnosed with the virus and admitted to hospital alongside his wife is this guy Brian Hitchens. He decided to speak to WPTV to explain his experience and why we should be taking Coronavirus seriously:

I’d get up in the morning and pray and trust in God for his protection, and I’d just leave it at that.

There were all these masks and gloves. I thought it looks like a hysteria.

I don’t want anybody to go through what I went through. My wife is on a ventilator and it’s very sad.

I thought it was maybe the government trying something, and it was kind of like they threw it out there to kinda distract us.

This wasn’t some scare tactic that anybody was using. It wasn’t some made-up thing. This was a real virus you gotta take seriously.

I mean I suppose I should be glad that Brian is warning people to take this seriously, but I reckon if they’re still not doing this after the last two months then there isn’t really much hope for them believing that it’s real, you know? Still blows my mind that people like that are out there, but I guess this really is the age that we live in now.
