Locked up after Border Patrol raided his tour bus in 2008 recovering 105 grams of marijuana (3.7 ounces), 29 grams of cocaine (1.02 ounces), 41 grams of MDMA (1.4 ounces) and $22,000 dollars in cash, Lil Wayne is back!

Not one to let prison affect him, the gun-toting/ weed-smoking/ cocaine-sniffing Lil Wayne has released his comeback single ‘6 foot 7 foot’ with a video that has been directed by rap video grandmaster Hype Williams. It’s a typical American ‘rap’ video with lots of hot chicks in their bikinis, and the main man standing around looking badass with his fresh facial tattoos (hmmm). Only this is a video with a difference as it has a unique Inception-style theme to it which makes it slightly deeper and twisted than your average video. The song also weirdly samples Day-Oh (The Banana Boat Song) – best remembered from the amazing Beetlejuice dinner scene – and a song that definitely should be left as it is.

I’m not convinced at all, so check out both Lil Wayne and Harry Belafonte and make up your own minds:
