Apparently this woman visited the doctor when she noticed she had facial swelling, but nothing could have prepared her for what was actually going on with her face.
It turned out that a bot fly/worm had managed to lay eggs in the lining of the mouth and they had hatched and its larvae were now living inside her lips. The only way to get these out was to cut it open and grab them with a pair of tweezers and yeah, that is as rank as it sounds when you watch it in the video below. Serious nightmare fuel.
