The #MeToo movement has made a comeback in the last week or so with accusations being levelled at comedian Chris D’Elia and Ansel Elghort, and an anonymous Twitter account also fired some off at Justin Bieber over the weekend too.

The first accusations were from a woman called Danielle, and then another accusation appeared from a woman called Kadi:

I mean that sounds pretty serious and The Bieb has moved fast to disprove Danielle’s story at least, taking to his own Twitter account to give his version of events:

In the past 24 hours a new Twitter appeared that told a story of myself involved with sexual abuse on March 9, 2014 in Austin Texas at the Four seasons hotel. I want to be clear. There is no truth to this story. In fact as I will soon show I was never present at that location.

We have also confirmed with the Four Seasons regional manager that I was never on property on the 9th of March 2014 and never a guest on the 9th or the 10th and I welcome all press to inquire with them if needed or wanted.

Every claim of sexual abuse should be taken very seriously and this is why my response was needed. However this story is factually impossible and that is why I will be working with twitter and authorities to take legal action.

I mean that sounds like a pretty legit version of events, but I don’t think we can really 100% discount what these women are saying about Bieber. It’s well known that he was going a bit wild around that time in his life too, so the timelines add up and it probably wouldn’t have been that hard for him to fake some of these receipts etc. I doubt these women would have just made these stories up be cause they’re gonna face a hell of a lot of abuse for them, so I think we need to look into them a bit more.
I don’t really know how it’s going to play out but we should probably keep our eyes on it – I imagine that Bieber is probably powerful enough that even if there was any truth in them he’ll be able to hush it up. That’s just how it works sadly.
