2011’s Anuvahood was a very underrated British comedy, but I don’t think anyone ever expected a sequel, let alone a whole 12 years later.

Well, the trailer landed online this week, and all the talk is about grime pioneer Jeremy Corbyn making his big screen debut:

Have to admit, I liked Anuvahood, but I’ve got a feeling this just isn’t going to compare. For one thing, where the hell is Tyrone? He’s nowhere to be seen in that trailer even though he completely stole the show in the original:

He has to be in it, surely? Especially if you’re bringing back the singing parking attendant and have got crackhead Ed Sheeran involved too. Good to see Adam Deacon back in the game as well following his mental health issues over the last few years, and the dramas with his friend and longtime collaborator Noel Clarke.

Anuvahood hits cinemas on October 13. Before that – Season 3 of Top Boy lands on Netflix on September 7.
