Are we living in a simulation? Probably. Because 55-year-old boxing legend Mike Tyson has just agreed to fight 25-year-old YouTuber Jake Paul in a showdown for the ages. Jake shared this clip of Mike Tyson’s appearance on the Jimmy Kimmel Show earlier, and it looks like they’re set to make the fight happen in 2022:

At 5’11, Mike Tyson will actually be the tallest boxer Jake Paul has faced yet, and definitely the toughest even if he is a few decades removed from his prime. If you remember Tyson’s comeback exhibition fight against Roy Jones Jr recently, he still looked pretty damn dangerous:

As Tyson says, Jake Paul has proved himself to be a skilled fighter who has surpassed the whole ‘influencer’ thing and should now be taken seriously as a boxer. Maybe not championship level just yet, but better than any amateur. Get a load of some of his boxing highlights thus far:

Any time rumours of this fight happening have swirled in the past, either Jake or Tyson have popped up to shut them down, but it looks as though this time they’re dead set on making it happen by the end of the year. I’m not sure there’s a person on this planet who is hoping for any other outcome than a Mike Tyson KO victory, but can you imagine if Jake Paul pulls it out the bag somehow? It would be the most tragic result in boxing history. Let’s hope there’s no drug testing involved so Mike Tyson can really get himself ready for this one. Can’t wait.

Meanwhile, the bouncer who KO’d blue durag guy at Box Parx the other week is also gunning for a showdown with Mike Tyson. Get in line, buddy.
