Things seem to be going from bad to worse for ISIS these days. Ever since it came to light that they were running out of money and fighter morale was down, the situation seems to have become worse and worse for them, which is great news for the rest of the world. And what’s even better is that it doesn’t seem to be getting any better for them, especially with this latest story emerging. In fact it’s downright embarrassing.

Apparently fighters over there are so disillusioned with their lower salaries and the conditions that they’re now forced to live in, that they’re no longer showing up for battles or decapitation classes or whatever the hell it is that they spend their days doing. As this is an offence that could be punishable by death, they’re using that classic method of dodging out of something you don’t want to do that we all used when we didn’t want to do P.E. at school – fake doctor’s notes. Absolute genius – ‘Sorry, Abu can’t participate in the suicide bombing today because he has an upset stomach and was sweating all night’, yeah sure that’s going to work.

In any case, just like those pesky teachers that never believed you, ISIS commanders are onto them and definitely aren’t happy about it, sending the following letter being sent to doctors in the area recently:

In the name of God, the Compassionate, the Merciful

To the doctor brothers in Wilayat al-Kheir
As-salam alaykum wa rahmat Allah wa barakatuhu

We remind you that the medical report is tantamount to a witness statement and any doctor whose report we discover to be untrue will be held to account, and he will be reprimanded with imprisonment or a large fine, or definite closure of his clinic (according to the ruling of the judiciary) and that will be to reprimand him.

Yeah I mean, that isn’t really the kind of message that you want to be sending out to your own doctors when you’re pretty much trying to change the entire structure of the current global world order is it?
