Isn’t it just great when some dumbass celebrity speaks out over current events in other countries – or even their own country – that they seem to have no grasp over whatsoever? Isn’t it even better when that celebrity is somebody like Hulk Hogan, a guy who is essentially famous for ripping his t shirt apart by flexing his muscles and then leg dropping some jabroni?

Well, I guess there was a lack of credible pundits or something yesterday, because in their infinite wisdom BBC Radio decided to interview Hulk Hogan himself about the riots that are currently taking place all over the country . I’m sure that’s what their listeners were gearing for – Hulk Hogan’s opinion on the events, rather than someone like maybe David Cameron. Hey, at least get The Rock involved, rather than some washed up has been like Hogan who can’t even wrestle properly anymore.

Predictably, Hulk Hogan offered little to help quell the fear that has built up over these riots, saying dumb stuff like ‘yeah I should bodyslam the youth like I used to body slam Andre the Giant. I will do anything because I love my UK Hulkamaniacs’ and ‘A riot’s a pretty heavy thing, brother.’ Hulk Hogan’s solution to the problem of these riots is that ‘we need to grab these kids, shake them, and say ‘Stop! Regroup! Just look at yourself in the mirror. Is this what you want the mirror image of your life to be? Is this what you want your destiny to be?’ It sounds like Hulk Hogan is cutting a promo against one of his buddies who has betrayed him in a match and sided with Macho Man Randy Savage or something. This is real life Hulk Hogan, get it together.

In any case, check out the interview here and let us know what you think of it. Will the world remember Hulk Hogan’s intervention when we look back on the history of these riots?
