The internet pretty much broke last week when we received some of the best news we had heard in a long time – given the nature of the world right now – in that the long rumoured ‘Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater’ remaster was finally going to be released this September.

This also included a trailer that looked pretty dope, but now some actual footage has been leaked from the game showing us how it will actually work and in case you were worried, you shouldn’t be: it looks pretty much exactly how you remember it, only obviously with much better graphics now. Take a look below and see what you think:

Oh man that brings back some memories, although I’m sure we’re all going to agree that it just isn’t the same without The Suicide Machines or whoever blasting in the background. Obviously the soundtrack is going to be a big part of this though so it makes sense that they’re keeping that secret to the last minute.

It’s also really cute how all the skaters are really old and represent how they look now rather than how they did at the turn of the century. Hopefully that doesn’t affect their ability to shred on their skateboards, but given the nature of this leak I think it’s safe to say that we’ll be OK.

For more of the same, check out the original Tony Hawk’s cast reuniting for a skate at The Berrics. Awesome.
