There’s nothing like a photograph of some well chiseled men on the internet going viral and leaving females swooning – they seem to come around once every couple of years.

First you had hot mugshot guy – who eventually went on to become a male model after his jail sentence thanks to the success of his photograph – and now you’re seeing a response from the other side of the law. Following Hurricane Irma and the devastation that it wrecked in Florida, Gainesville Police Department posted the selfie you can see above of three of their officers ready to take on the night shift in its wake.

They couldn’t possibly have anticipated the response as thirsty women went absolutely crazy over it, leaving some of the cringiest comments ever on it, liking it over 330,000 times and sharing it around 200,000 times. That’s some serious mileage for these police officers. Some of the best comments included:

‘I can’t believe how many women are objectifying these poor, fine, young, strong, handsome, brave, sexy, delicious, virile, ovulation-inducing, mouth-watering, beefy….. I can’t remember where I was going with this …’

‘I feel safer just looking at this picture but my ovaries don’t!’

‘Uhm, a court date is still a ‘date’ right?!’

‘This pic is exactly why your grandmother always told you to wear clean underwear in case you’re in an accident.’

‘Do a calender, add puppies and I’m pretty sure we can rebuild Texas and Florida’

The police station was so overwhelmed by the response that they were forced to edit the original post, answering several questions they had received about the officers and other issues. Here it is:

Jokers. But fair play on them for embracing it and running with it. You’ve gotta wonder what the reaction would be like if it was hundreds of guys commenting on a bunch of hot female police officers though. Just saying.
