England and former Brentford striker Ivan Toney is not regretting his move to the Saudi Pro League, and that isn’t just because he’s making £20 million a year out there (tax-free and before performance bonuses), but also because he doesn’t need to worry about his car being broken into.

Toney is back in London for the summer break, but is already hating life back in Blighty after his prized Lamborghini was broken into.

Toney shared images of the damage on Instagram and captioned it: ‘This is why I hate London’.

That’s annoying. Although there’s no word on if the thieves actually took anything from the vehicle.

Toney joined Al-Ahli from Brentford last year in a deal worth £40million, and he’s scored 30 goals in his debut season with them. So clearly it’s going pretty well for him over there, even if he did catch a load of flak from fans of the Premier League who claim his talent is wasted out there.

Furthermore, it’s still up in the air whether Toney will retain his place in the England squad under Thomas Tuchel, as he’s not exactly competing against elite talent every week.

As for the shattered windows on his Lamborghini, I doubt he’ll lose any sleep over it. After all, he could always buy another supercar or two tomorrow. It’s just part and parcel of being in a big city! Well, a big city in England, anyway. Chin up, Ivan!
