As if last year’s deep fried tequila recipe wasn’t enough to get you completely wasted and pile on the pounds, this year we’re going one step further by introducing deep fried margaritas to you. And yes, they will get you completely and utterly licked too.
Here’s the recipe and a few pictures of them to encourage you to get involved with making them. Trust us, you won’t regret it.
Salt and oil for frying
Some powdered sugar, tequila and lime zest for the glaze.
1. Cut the cake into one-inch cubes
2. Dunk them in the margarita and place them in hot oil until they’re fried to golden perfection
3. Mix the tequila, powdered sugar and lime juice and smother each crispy cube in the glaze
4. Sprinkle a bit of salt over each one
