The kid that’s allergic to Christmas might want to look away now, because thanks to videographer Toby Smith we’ve got an inside look at where Christmas as you know it is manufactured each year; a few hours south of Shanghai in Yiwu, China.

The 600 factories in this city produce 60% of the world’s Christmas decorations, so there’s a good chance any wreaths, Santa outfits and Christmas trees you put up this year came from these guys. As you can imagine, it’s a demanding and low-paying job where workers are exposed to dodgy chemicals and can work for longer than 10 hours a day straight.
