Chris Brown’s track record for violence and (alleged) sexual assault is absolutely insane, so it’s no surprise that we’ve got a new one for the books.

This time, the R&B superstar has been arrested at the Lowry Hotel in Manchester, England, following allegations that he smashed a tequila bottle over a music producer’s head and ‘ruthlessly stomped’ him at Tape nightclub in London.

According to Yahoo: The arrest stems from a 2023 incident at a London nightclub in which the R&B singer allegedly struck music producer Abe Diaw with a tequila bottle. Diaw claims the singer “beat him over the head” with a bottle of Don Julio 1942 tequila, then proceeded to “ruthlessly stomp” on him. As a result, Diaw says he “suffered severe and lasting injuries,” including lacerations on his head and torn ligaments in his leg.

Wow, I’m starting to think that Chris Brown may not actually be that great of a guy? I mean, I’m sure P Diddy thinks he’s a lot of fun, but between beating the sh1t out of Rihanna in 2009, beating the sh1t out of this music producer in London, and everyone else he’s beaten up, he actually sounds like a real piece of crap.

Which is too bad, because he’s an immensely talented singer and dancer. Probably explains why he still has a career and millions of fans even after all the awful things he’s done to people.

He’s continued to sell out shows and appear on major songs under major record labels, and his music still gets played everywhere. In fact he’s really tested the limits of how far being conventionally attractive, having a great voice and great dance moves can get you in life, even when you’re categorically a terrible person.

Brown might really be in trouble now, though. He’s been charged with GBH with intent and has been remanded into custody until his next court appearance on June 13, 2025. Pretty crazy to think one of the biggest R&B stars in America will be chilling in a UK prison until then, at the very least.

Surely he can’t keep getting away with it, can he?
