What’s dumber than doing a racist impression of Asians (or any group for that matter) in front of your work colleagues? How about filming the whole thing and sharing it on TikTok like that isn’t a guaranteed way to go viral and get sacked:

The above video resulted in two braindead members of British Airways cabin crew getting the sack this week. Holly Walton and Lauren Bray were mocking a specific group of passengers by putting on a Chinese accent and making slant-eyed gestures. Although in fairness, it was only Walton doing that. Bray was just dumb enough to film the whole thing (which included her laughing behind the camera) and share it with the world. It’s now been viewed over a million times!

The pair were said to have been between flights when they filmed the video at Trade Winds hotel in Antigua. According to their colleagues, the pair were mocking a Chinese family on the BA2157 flight from London Gatwick who apparently didn’t speak much English.

Walton and Bray were ordered to fly back from a round trip in Cancun, Mexico for a showdown meeting on Monday with British Airways bosses at the airline’s headquarters, where the pair were sacked.

A BA crew member said: ‘This recording is obscene. For anyone to have such racist thoughts, to then film them and share it with the world, is shocking and dumb in equal measure. This is hugely damaging for the airline and they deserved the axe.’

Can’t argue with that really. Two numpties who are clearly old enough to know better. It’s bad enough doing such a bait and unfunny racist impression at that age, but to do it as a representative of a company and then share it on social media? Very silly behaviour. Might want to lay low for a while before sending out those CVs again.
