Thomas Skinner Is ‘Suing The BBC Over Plot To Have Him Voted Off’
I’ve not sure the vote to boot Thomas Skinner off Strictly Come Dancing 2025 needed rigging, but apparently the ex-contestant is taking legal action over the BBC for plotting his removal from the show.
Skinner, who built a brand out of being a loving, ‘traditional British family values’ man who works hard and does it all for his family, claims he can prove the vote was rigged to have him booted out early doors.
Skinner, 34, was the first axed contestant in the Week 2 dance-off, which is pretty embarrassing to be fair.

Is it possible the BBC plotted or somehow arranged his removal from the show by rigging the public vote? I guess so. But he was already facing a lot of public backlash for his endorsement of Donald Trump (as a Brit, no less), and for cheating on his wife.
However, according to The Sun, Skinner believes public support for him was downplayed, and he now reportedly wants to ‘take on’ the BBC in court. Join the queue, bud!
A source told the outlet: ‘Thomas is adamant he got a larger share of the public vote and believes he has the evidence to prove it,’ they claimed, implying he thinks he should not have been in the bottom two.
‘He is determined to see it through, but there’s no way the BBC will take this sensational claim lying down.
‘They’ll robustly defend any kinds of claims that the voting was rigged or fixed.’

Back in October, Skinner said he wished he ‘never went on Strictly Come Dancing’, as he has received ‘constant abuse’ following the revelation that he cheated on his wife.
So wouldn’t that mean he should be grateful that the BBC ‘ensured’ he was booted off first? I guess he thought he might have turned things around if he could dazzle the British public with his dance moves.
Apparently his performances were shocking, though, which explains why he was the first contestant to be axed from the show.
Unless Skinner can provide the evidence he supposedly has that the vote was rigged, I would steer clear from the courts on this one. Surely he can’t take another highly-publicised L at this point, least of all from the BBC.
